Today I took my first team to a sports day. I had to organise the RAMs forms, team names, health list, lunches, uniforms, etc. This was a great experience as I am now able to see what is needed when it comes to organising a team for sports event days.
I chose to take one team of Year 7 and 8 Boys as I wanted to ensure I knew the organisation behind it first. We did three trainings in total before the day and this allowed the team and I to build some teamwork skills as well as improve on ur overall game.
My team did really well on the day and we made it to the finals against Point England School. We placed second overall and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our team was very well behaved and showed some great sportsmanship throughout the day. It was a great first experience for a sports day.
